Empowering Youth Workers: Strengthening European Youth Work through Synergies and Cross-Sector Collaboration

The project emerges from collaborative efforts among national youth worker organizations, universities, and vocational training providers, all dedicated to establishing recognized roles and curricula for the training and education of youth workers. It aims to offer youth workers opportunities to enhance their professional skills and competencies. Through training, exchange programs and resource provision, the project equips them with tools necessary for addressing contemporary societal issues and youth trends in their daily work. This partnership addresses significant contemporary challenges like Euroscepticism and political education. With the increase in Eurosceptic sentiments across Europe, it becomes imperative to empower youth workers with knowledge and skills to effectively tackle these issues. It also emphasizes the importance of understanding the political dimension of youth work in societal change and intergenerational dialogue.

This project would like to fostering:

• Mapping Models, Tools, and Methodologies among formal and non formal educational sectors about European and political dimension of youth work;
• Exploration of Relevant Aspects and Challenges in training and education of youth workers about political and European dimension;
• Connection with Broader Initiatives and to upscale the possible initiative and linking with national and institutional processes.
